Trying to learn this stuff makes my brain hurt! I need to learn it to make my animations better, if only I had more time, but I'll get there in the end (I hope!).Just experimenting at the moment with an old painting I made that I like.

I'm so inspired at the moment by medieval art and tapestries after my visit to the Northumberland and Lindisfarne. Just wish I had more time as working hard to pay for new house and spending time on a new animation for Comma Press using my ipad. Really enjoying this drawing though and want to make it into an etching.

Version Film Festival Runner-up Award
Won runners-up in the Version poetry film festival with my animation of Diane Syders poem Jupiter. The showing was a couple of months ago and I had to really rush to get it finished and wasn't happy with quite a few bits. I've been working on it on and off and think I'm nearly there. Hope to get it finished tomorrow and will update blog- my website, everything is totally outdated now because I spent so long on this animation- really need to make things simpler for myself! Need to get back to drawing too - I miss it.
